The charm of Ryuoo Ski Park lies in experiencing the unique dry powder typical of inland areas. Particularly, the mountaintop area above the Ropeway offers a coveted expanse for powder enthusiasts, where light, fluffy snow accumulates. The "Kiotoshi Course," with a maximum slope of 36 degrees leading down to the foothills, is exclusively for advanced skiers and mandates helmet usage. This steep slope spans 1400 meters, offering a long, non-groomed area where you can fully relish the soft, powdery snow.
From the Ropeway mountaintop, there are two types of "Kiotoshi Courses" to choose from, which eventually merge along the way. The "A Course" offers a wide and well-visible path, while the "B Course" presents variations with curves and different slopes, providing not only powder but also the enjoyment of diverse terrain while skiing.
Beyond the Ropeway mountaintop, taking another lift leads to the topmost part of the ski resort. This area becomes a picturesque viewing spot during the peak season, featuring fantastical "ice trees" or "snow monsters." From beginners to advanced skiers, everyone can enjoy the mountaintop area, starting this season, It has transformed all its courses into parks, allowing for waves, banks, and various features.
