Hiroshima prefecture faces Setonaikai, inland sea of Japan, in which countless small islands exist and it stretches far inland. Ski resorts are scattered in the northwestern and those are accessible from Hiroshima city. Ski resorts maintain the best snow conditions by using artificial snow fall machines. Each snow resort boasts of their own unique feature such as snow parks with varieties of park items, panoramic views of Japan Sea, and steep slopes and long slopes. There are many World Heritages like Gembaku Dome, atomic-bomb memorial dome, and Iwashima Shrine. Street trams running in Hiroshima city give you a special atmosphere. Cruising in Setonaikai is also recommended. Okonomiyaki with noodles is a famous Hiroshima local food and Momiji-manjyu, a local sweet, and oysters are known in this area.
