If you don't have snowboard wear or equipment, you can rent it at the ski resort rental corner. Using the rental service enables you to enjoy your snowboarding trip without a large amount of luggage. When renting wear or equipment etc., you'll need to show a form of ID.

What can be rented at the rental corner

To snowboard, you need a snowboard and boots. The bindings come as a set with the board. Although you can rent a board and boots separately, it's cheaper to rent them as a set. Staff will choose your board size for you.
Snowboard wear of various designs is available. At some rental corners, you can choose your preferred combination of jacket and trousers as well as size. There are also set prices available for ski equipment and wear.

Rental application

When using the rental service, fill in the necessary items such as your height and shoe size on the application form. When you present this form at reception, a staff member will select the equipment for you based on this information.

ID is required for rentals

You'll need to show ID when applying to rent wear or equipment. Please have your driver's license, student card, insurance certificate, passport or similar ready for inspection.

Check the boot size

You can try on the boots there, and if they don't fit, change them for another size. If your toes hit the ends or your feet feel cramped, change the boots to a pair that is one size larger. If you're wearing thick socks, you should rent boots that are a little larger than your normal shoe size to be comfortable.

Receive the rental items from staff

Staff will select your board length based on the information on the application form. Once all of your equipment is ready, you will receive them from staff and you can make your way to the ski resort. Each item has a control number written on it, so please remember the number that you have been allocated.

Get changed in the locker room and put your belongings into a locker.

Use the locker rooms when changing into your snowboard wear, and put your clothing and belongings into a coin locker for security and peace of mind. You'll find locker rooms located in various sites close to the rental corner, ski center or parking lot.

Confirm in advance whether you can rent accessories.

As a rule, you need to bring your own accessories such as gloves, beanies or goggles. However, some rental corners offer these accessories. For peace of mind, check in advance whether you can rent accessories.

If you can't rent accessories

If you can't rent accessories, you can purchase them at sporting shops in various cities. If you forget your accessories, check whether you can buy snow products at the ski center shop.
